Hall Of Shame: The LeBron James charade

Hall Of Shame: The LeBron James charade In the regular season LeBron averaged 26.7 points a game and in the finals series averaged a disappointing 17.8. The worst part about it wasn't that LeBron shot and missed, he didn't even try, he lacked heart and that is unforgivable on any stage in any sport. To read more click here.

Inherent dangers, the nature of the beast

Frightening scenes as cars collide at over 200km/h at Las Vegas resulting in the death of Dan Wheldon
The past week has seen two tragedies in the motor sport world. The exciting talents of Dan Wheldon and Marco Simoncelli were cut abruptly short doing what they loved... I feel as though we should embrace the risk takers and enjoy every moment they put their lives on the line for us. We ought to treat them as true superstars, risking it all in the name of thrills and entertainment, the ultimate performers. To read the whole story; click here

Football: Derby Day Approaches!

Football: Derby Day Approaches! It has finally arrived upon us, the Manchester Derby, Red Vs Blue, Big Brother Vs Little Brother. In recent years the derby hasn't meant much to United or in fact United fans. City were not a force and the result was rarely in doubt, and even if City did manage to win it was nothing according to the Red Side of Manchester. But times have changed, the little weak brother is no longer so, the noisy neighbors now pose a threat. To Read More Click Here

'The man' or the mouth

"I'm the greatest you will ever see"
Love him or hate him, whenever Anthony Mundine's name is mentioned, a stirred reaction is sure to follow.

Possibly one of Australia's most controversial sportsman in recent times has been Anthony 'The Man' Mundine. 'The Man' has talked the talk for many years and despite his insistence that he also walks the walk, how good is Mundine in reality? Mundine has an impressive professional tally of 43 wins from 48 bouts, 127 first grade rugby league games and three state of origins. On the surface he is surely one of Australian sport's all-round modern greats, but beneath the scenes something is rotten. To find out more we must look at his record and the legacy he will leave behind him.

AFL: numero uno

AFL: Numero Uno: With the AFL's far superior average attendance record, they leave the fragile and futile attempts from it's smaller brothers broken and battered on the ground. AFL leaps above the pack with an average attendance of 36,933 per game.. To read more Click Here

Football: Fair play, that's Sepp's game

Football: Fair play, that's Sepp's gameIt would be safe to say football is loved around the globe, some may call it the 'beautiful game' and on the outside it is. However the inside has a putrid stench, the stench of decay and the disease at the center is Sepp Blatter. Read More

Barnes non-selection critical to Wallabies demise

Quade Cooper struggled against New Zealand in the world cup semi-final
The real short comings of the Wallabies World Cup campaign I feel, remain in the hands of Robbie Deans who picked the out of sorts Cooper for these high pressure games. Berrick Barnes would have certainly got the nod for me ahead of Cooper following his quarter final performance. Barnes would have added solidity and consistency when needed most. He is a reliable play maker who works the percentages and guides the team with a territory based mind-set which would have been ideal for a close game at finals level in a world cup.

The greatest ever athlete

The question is asked often, but many variables play a factor when determining who the world's greatest ever athlete may be. People who excelled in multiple sports, were in their own league in their particular sport, sports that involve more skill than others where fitness plays the major role. Which of these will you use to determine your favorite for the greatest ever?

So we pose the question to you? Feel free to comment and add to the discussion or to vote on our facebook poll click here.

Huge test beckons for young fast bowler

A discussion on the inclusion of Patrick Cummins in Australia's test squad at just 18 years of age

Chris: Cummins got a few wickets the other night.

Nathan: Yeah, his international T20 bowling average is like 10!
Pretty big call to select him in the test squad though, not that I think he'll actually play.
But... if there's an injury, he's playing test cricket after just three first class matches.

Patrick Cummins in line for test debut

Patrick Cummins has been named as part of a 15 man squad for the test series against South Africa later this month following an impressive twenty20 showing in his maiden international tour.

Cummins, just 18 years of age, poses as Australia's youngest test debutante since Ian Craig was selected in 1953 as a 17 year old. The question still beckons however, has he done enough to warrant his fast tracking to the highest level?

Basketball: Where Are The Keys?

Basketball: Where Are The Keys?

So this year, as you would imagine, I'm keen to follow the season from start to finish and in typical fashion something absolutely diabolical happens. I hate to utter the words that has turned into a new fad for all sports all over the globe. A Player Lockout... A player what? Are you kidding me? To read more, Click Here
